SEO Data Connector Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the SEO Data Connector, operated by Search Convert, accesses and uses Google user data.

Google data the connector accesses

After a user gives permission through Google OAuth, the connector may access:

• Google Search Console properties, search-performance reports, sitemap status and URL inspection information on a read-only basis.
• Google Analytics account, property and reporting data on a read-only basis.
• Google Ads account information and reporting data. Google provides the adwords OAuth scope; the connector exposes read-only account discovery and SearchStream reporting and does not implement Google Ads mutation endpoints.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to produce reporting, analysis and recommendations requested by the authorised user. It is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with unrelated third parties.

Processing and sharing

The connector communicates with Google APIs and supplies requested report results to the user’s Codex session for analysis. OpenAI’s Codex service may process those results under the user’s OpenAI agreement, privacy settings and applicable policies. The connector does not operate a separate advertising profile or data-broker database.

Storage and retention

Google OAuth tokens are stored locally in the authorised user’s macOS Keychain. Tokens remain until the user disconnects the profile or revokes access through their Google Account. Report results may remain in the user’s Codex task history or workspace according to that user’s settings and retention controls.

Security

The connector does not request or store Google passwords or two-factor authentication codes. Credentials are not displayed in reports. Access is limited to the scopes approved by the user and the connector’s available tools.

User controls

Users can revoke access at any time through their Google Account permissions or disconnect the Google profile within the SEO Data Connector. Revocation prevents further API access.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The SEO Data Connector’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
